These sandwiches are so freaking good. In my last 8 days in Chicago over the past two years, I've gone here 5 times.

The staff is always so friendly, the sandwiches always take you so by surprise with how good they are. A lot of sandwiches have vegan or vegetarian options. They're breakfast sandwiches are named after The Golden Girls (served till 2 PM).

Family-owned.

Small shop with a table and a few bar stools to eat. Don't let that deter you, you must get food here.

A small little shop big on taste! There are just a few sandwiches to choose from. Each sandwich is a combination of flavor and good quality ingredients.We loved the turkey sandwich and french onion sandwich which came with French onion dipping sauce on the side. My Broccoli salad was also excellent. No frills shop with Limited seating

Saw it was ranked 4.8 as a sandwich place and was like that can't be. Definitely deserves an amazing score it turns out. Unique sandwiches. AMAZING service and they don't take tips as they really already take care of their people. I want to support this place more just for the principle of it but the food is definitely worth coming back time and time again for as well.

This place is honestly one of the best if not THE BEST sandwich shop in the city. I’ve had many of the sandwiches on the menu but please never take the Spring Turkey off the menu. This sandwich is so good that I ordered it two days in a row, might even make it three. Also the tots and sauce are a must. Order from here!!!

I ordered a summer ‘24 turkey sandwich and this thing is absolutely delicious. The heirloom tomatoes are so crisp and the sandwich is perfectly toasted. Too bad this is a seasonal item, I’d definitely order it year-round!

Quite delightful sandwiches and tater tots cooked to perfection. Must try the monthly special sandwiches. While the other sandwiches are all wonderful the specials really are special and unique.

A cute little sandwich shop in Avondale with a tiny interior space— just one small booth and a couple bar chairs for indoor seating. It wasn’t too packed on a Sunday afternoon though, and my friend and I were able to get seats. They have a unique, creative, and expansive selection of vegetarian sandwiches, which is what initially drew us here. Although the sandwiches were good and they were packed / filling enough to be worth the price, I came in with high expectations that came a little shy of being met.

My friend and I got the Tofu Cubano and Crispy “Frosted” Cauliflower sandwich. I was a little disappointed by the presentation of the Tofu Cubano. The ratio of tofu vs. other ingredients listed on the menu was off to me— it’s packed with two big squares of tofu and sauce, but not much else. The bread was delicious, crunchy and and well toasted, and the sauce was very flavorful, but I wish they put more of the other ingredients inside for a more complex texture and flavor profile. The tofu itself was also not very well seasoned— the sauce and bread carried all the flavor of this sandwich.

I liked the Cauliflower sandwich better: Aesthetically, it’s a very tall sandwich that’s hard to fit in the mouth. The cauliflower was flavorful and well fried, with a good mix of sauces and other ingredients. The bun was soft and well toasted. I definitely recommend this one over the Tofu Cubano, which is a shame because based on the menu at least, the Tofu Cubano had so much potential and I was really looking forward to it.

Otherwise, the service was quick and friendly. You order the sandwiches on a screen at the front and they call your name when it’s done.

Very cute sandwich shop with solid food! We split a Cubano, spicy tuna melt, and couscous for lunch and it was the perfect portion. A bit of spice so beware if you don’t like spicy food! The space is also pretty small (seats about 8-10 total), so most people took their orders to-go. The service was also great - super friendly staff and food came out pretty quick. We need to come back to try their donuts!
