The shrimp po' boy is delicious. It's definitely the best in town by far. The crust is crunchy and packed with flavours, you get a generous amount of shrimp, and the bread is made fresh daily. I highly recommend it.

Had their chicharron po' boy at Great Change on a Thursday evening. They also had shrimp and other protein options. The bread was nice and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Chicharron was on point along with their sauce. It comes with lettuce and tomato, as well. Overall, I highly recommend trying them out. I wish the sandwich was a tad bigger to justify the $13 price tag. However, considering it's my first time having a po' boy I would have to try more to see if it's normal size. I also won't ding stars on the price, because the sandwich was really well-made.

Undeniably out of this world delicious! Ingredients are fresh and each bite is crafted to perfection to complete literally the best poboy I've ever had. No shortcuts were taken, as ingredients are made from scratch including the fresh baked bread. No need to travel to Louisiana Oh boy Po Boy tops all the competition. Period.

One of the few places in town that makes Po'boy sandwiches and these guys ROCK IT! One of the, if not, the best Po'boy sandwiches I've ever had. My wife and I rave about this place all the time! If you haven't tried it, you need to try it! Friendly staff and quick service also!

If you're looking for a slice of NOLA in the middle of Bakersfield look no further. Austin (owner/proprietor) is doing an amazing job serving up a slice of New Orleans flava in the middle of the valley. You can't go wrong w/either his shrimp Po'boy or the sausage Po'boy. If you're feeling adventurous ask for the 2-face. Simple menu that doesn't try too hard. Crispy shrimp, soft/crusty bread, and just the right amount of salt/acid/heat to keep you coming back for more. Follow him on Instagram for updates on where he'll be during the week. He roams all over the valley slinging those Po'boys. Highly recommended!!!

I have been to NOLA many times and my family is Creole I know a outstanding po boy from the first bite! The perfect buttery toasty bread, the shrimp fried golden to protection, (and deveined thank you Jesus ), dressed perfectly with a added delight of pepperoncinis!! And they have my favorite Zapps chips (voodoo is my fav flavor ) a NOLA staple! If you're looking for a taste of that true Creole flavor from a true Creole man don't pass up the opportunity to have this culinary experience of a lifetime!

Good stuff at a great price. They fill that baguette with shrimp, come hungry and leave satisfied. I didn't think I'd find a po'boy this good outside of Lousiana. Only down side is they are usually only open thursday-saturday.
