Great new little restaurant spot in the West Village area. (They opened where the Public School restaurant used to be). The inside is a little cold feeling, very airy and open feeling, not very romantic but also not very divey either. They do have outside seating as well. The staff were all nice and the service was quick.

I ordered the Caesar salad ($9) and the Eggplant Parmesan ($9) and they were both very tasty and affordable !

My friend ordered the Shrimp Scampi pasta ($14) and the Wedge Salad ($9). She really enjoyed both. The sauce and the flavor was good.

Overall it’s a very affordable, new little Italian spot.

We had a great time at San Marzano! The vibe in there is elevated casual which we enjoyed. The menu is small but I felt like there were still enough items for me to choose from. We started off with the arancini and Caesar salad which were fantastic. The two pastas we got were a short rib rigatoni and a vodka sauce rigatoni with spicy sausage. Some reviewers have commented on the portions not being enough but I felt they were enough. Service was friendly and did a good job as they continue to work through new opening logistical issues. We would certainly come back here!

Great Italian spot. Fresh tastes in the pasta and sauces. Value priced wine options that are great. Highly recommend the whole wheat ziti with Alla Norma sauce. Very nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Top notch and will definitely be back.

Decided to try this new place. Everything was amazing from the food to the service. Kelsey and Josh were very attentive serving us. Drinks were perfect specially the frozen Italian margarita. Had the tiramisu for dessert. Will definitely come back here.

I never leave reviews. Making an exception for this place. Not a ton of places doing handmade pasta which already makes this place a gem. Im a sucker for Italian and if I had only one cuisine I could eat the rest of my life it would be Italian, so trust me when I tell you the food here is delicious. Service is attentive and quick (shoutout to bartender Joe). Only complaint is that the portions are so small you’ll forget that everything is bigger in Texas. But that’s forgivable given how affordable the menu choices are (handmade pasta is lots of work, and these days I spend $15 just going to chick-fil-a). And the portions might be smaller but they are still very filling and reasonable for a lunch portion. 10/10 will be coming again throughout the week for lunch.

San Marzano is a wonderful addition to west village!! The food is incredible, service is immaculate, and you can’t beat the price point! Plus the manager is pretty cute.

My favorite combination so far has been the rigatoni with the Alla Norma sauce! Yum!! Can’t wait to try this place for brunch!!

San Marzano is a nice addition to the west village area. It offers some nice customizable pasta options at incredibly reasonable prices. Food is solid especially for the price but it feels like it's missing something. Would come back for a quick and cheap meal but not a night out.
