RING THE BELL!! People... we have a winner! Relatively new, tucked away just across the street south of Intrust Arena, this is a definite treat. Refitted warehouse space w/original wood floors, open ceiling, nice booth and table seating, beautiful bar - you gotta love the vibe. Menu is not overly complex, but offers great variety. Denise Neil, Wichita Eagle restaurant writer had a recent piece on Solly & Jude's, and that's what piqued my interest. Took my wife in for a late lunch. There was a lone gentleman in a booth, having a sandwich. I asked him how it was. He unabashedly EXCLAIMED "I'm from New York and this is the best!" Wasn't expecting that. Okay! Wife chose the Traditional Pastrami and Scott's Tots w/Russian dressing. I went for the Traditional Reuben, Scott's Tots w/Honey Sriracha. Sandwiches come with a slaw side and house-baked chocolate chip cookie. The sandwiches were out of sight. Party in your mouth. There's not room for proper descriptions here, but I would put these perfectly toasted, generously filled sandwiches in the same category as the famous old NYC Katz's and Carnegie's. If you had never been there, that's a monumental compliment. Anyway, you'll be doing good to polish off an entire Solly & Jude's sandwich. Huge. The 'dressing on tots' concept is winning combination. Crunchy and tasty! And the slaw - nothing short of spectacular. Coarse-cut, crisp & creamy. I'll even tell you about the cookie... delicious, crisp outside & soft inside. Got your curiosity up? Get yourself down to Solly & Jude's for the hands-down, best sandwich in Wichita! You'll thank me for the tip.

We’ve been a handful of times since they opened. The food is awesome. The drinks are amazing. The service is wonderful!
We always sit at the bar. I absolutely love their drinks, I always go for the old fashioned. Good selection of drinks and beers. I almost always get the New Yorker. It is delicious. I’ve had the Italian as well which was super good! Last time my husband opted for the chili dog and asked for another dog on it. Which they were happy to do! And I almost always get a side of the tots with the garlic Parmesan sauce - wow. So savory and great.
Definitely recommend this place. Ample parking. Close to the arena as well.

Solly and Jude's has a great atmosphere, nice servers, and yummy sandwiches. I had the Italian and it was super yummy. I also ordered the honey Sriracha tots and would highly suggest them. There's no kids menu and everything is pretty pricey. I liked it, but the cost is a bit much for what you get.

Restaurant and bar is not open yet. It will open soon after Christmas. Doing a soft opening this week. It’s a quaint little restaurant in a remodeled old building across Intrust Bank Arena. This will be great before and after events. Ham and Cheese sandwich was really good. Tater tots (called Scott’s Tots) very crispy and topped with favorite sauce. Full bar. Working out the kinks but should be great.

Our first few times there we loved the food, especially the tots. Here lately though, we've noticed they haven't been as packed as they usually are. The food doesn't seem quite up to par, and spending $50 (which includes tip) seems a little excessive for lunch.
On our most recent visit I got the BLT and the bacon was so rubbery, and the bread was too. My guest had a turkey hot melt sandwich and he said the bread was not toasted hardly at all.

Really enjoyed the classic ruben coleslaw was good. Pastrami was tasty and had a good soft marble rye bread to boot. Feel like amount of meat that comes on the Ruben was lacking for the price. At almost $17 I'd expect a healthy stack of meat. Only other complaint was that my daughter got a kids turkey sandwich which was lacking and super dry even with mayo.

Food is really good. Some things are a bit pricey for what you get, though I'm seeing that across the board with other places. I'd suggest trying the Scott's Tots and any of their sandwiches.

All prices include taxes already and they charge you less money if you pay with cash.
