The veal parm has the thickest veal slice ,the pasta, and sauce the whole meal is out of this world.
Their portions are HUGH. We always have leftovers for another meal!

San Marino Italian Restaurant in east Akron is serving up some serious comfort food. Their takeout game is undeniably strong, especially when faced with a torrential downpour. The staff’s cheerful demeanor during the chaos was as comforting as the food itself. ?️

The portions here are nothing short of impressive. Eight enormous ravioli stuffed with a creamy, herbed, ricotta? Yes, please. And those meatballs? They’re the kind of meatballs that are featured in mob movies—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. They’re easily three times the size of your average meatball. ?

The marinara sauce is a matter of taste. It leans sweet, with a straightforward tomato base. It’s not spicy or overly herbaceous, which some might appreciate. Personally, I prefer a bit more complexity, but that’s a minor quibble. ?

The incredible value, generous portions, and friendly service make San Marino a standout. I’m eager to return and experience the restaurant’s ambiance. Supporting local, family-owned businesses like this is essential, and San Marino certainly deserves the support! ?

Food is great. We got the pasta marinara and Italian panini for entrees. Also had the mozzarella balls for app and cannoli with cappuccino for dessert. Everything was delicious. Would be a great touch for them to make their own pasta though. Bri our waitress was very friendly and thoughtful. Honestly think this is the best Italian restaurant around and so glad it is so close to home.

First time trying this place, and it was pretty good! Nice, casual dining room with a small bar for drinks/beers. They also have an outside patio which looked cozy. We ordered a Chicken Bacon Wrap w/homemade chips and Chicken Alfredo. I really liked the fact you could get Chick Pea penne as a pasta choice if you're doing low carb which is what I tried. It was delicious, Alfredo was creamy and everything came out hot. They bring Italian bread with herb oil for dipping, which wasn't my thing really. Server was nice and very knowledgeable of the menu, told us specials, etc... The wait time wasn't bad at all, got drinks and such in a timely manner too. It's a cozy Italian environment, and I definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner. Prices are a little high in my opinion BUT the pasta portions are good size..you'll need a box! It's definitely worth a try.

We have been there for their Lasagna Spaghetti, pizza, salads, meatball sub Chicken Alfredo is to die for everything is great and we will be back very often. Thanks for a great experience, but needed upgrade and new owners are very friendly fair.

NOTHING bad about this restaurant! Food was SPECTACULAR! I was so blown away how delicious and well put together it was. We felt that the waitress "Nikki" was a delight to talk to. I highly recommend trying it, you won't regret it the minute you walk in and smell that delicious food!

Best fettuccini Alfredo I have ever had! Chill and cozy atmosphere paired with great eats. We went here as a spur of the moment thing while visiting family in the area. I would travel back just to eat here!
