Better than good!

The world of a super friendly, passionately serving gourmet (ex-restaurant-chef) who has perfected the seemingly simple but most tasty and delicious sandwiches and side dishes that have yet to be topped on my list of favorites in Hamburg!

The atmosphere is relaxed with a cool, contemporary vibe and nod to 90s nostalgia offering an arcade game and skatevideo-equipped TV to take you back to the dreams of your youth.

What perfected the experience for me was the great selection of hot sauces as additional spicing options!

Too bad that most of these ‘too good to be true places’ always fall prey to the hip crowd sooner than later which is great for the owner but always a bit dragging for the own enjoyment… sorry to sound egoistic here but you know the deal, we’re all humans 😉

If there was a place like this in my hometown Munich, I would come back every other day!

Willis in Hamburg Altona ist ein echter Geheimtipp! Der Service ist unglaublich herzlich und aufmerksam – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Das Essen ist einfach fantastisch! Die Gerichte sind nicht nur mit viel Liebe zum Detail angerichtet, sondern überzeugen auch geschmacklich auf ganzer Linie. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Qualität der Zutaten und die Kreativität in der Zubereitung.

Ein Ort, an dem man sich wohlfühlt und immer wieder gerne zurückkommt. Absolute Empfehlung für alle, die großartiges Essen in entspannter Atmosphäre schätzen!

Sehr empfehlenswert! Sandwiches sind lecker mit guten Zutaten & der Inhaber mega freundlich und passioniert. Die scharfen Soßen lassen auch keine Wünsche übrig und selbst der Kaffee schmeckt gut. Freue mich schon aufs nächste Mal!

We went at noon and Cheese toast and filter cofee were very good.Filter Coffee free!The atmosphere is sweet and there is a game machine for us to play in! If I come to Hamburg again, I will come here for breakfast again.

Cute, cosy space with delicious sandwiches! I got the grilled cheese sandwich and had the truffle hot sauce on top of it...the truffle-y, sweet and spicy taste really complemented the cheese and the crispy, buttered sourdough. Highly recommend!

Locale piccolo ma accogliente, atmosfera familiare, personale gentile, musica eccellente, belle riviste da sfogliare e panino al pastrami molto buono. È stato un vero piacere capitare in questo locale. Se posso dare un piccolo consiglio è quello di aggiungere qualche tovagliolo al panino da asporto, col quale è facile sporcarsi vista l'abbondanza della farcitura. Qualche nota aggiuntiva che comporta solo un minimo di organizzazione: il locale chiude nel pomeriggio, e non serve alcolici.
Uno dei posti migliori che abbia visto negli ultimi anni.

Also mal ganz ehrlich , wenn man ein richtig gutes Sandwich sucht, dann findet man es hier. Nicht das Feld, Wald Wiesen Sandwich , sondern kreativ. Etwas Neues. Mit guten Zutaten.

Service ist offen, ehrlich und immer gut gelaunt. Sympathisch und wenn nicht so viel los, auch mal für nen Schnack zu haben.

Kann ich nur empfehlen und für mich wenn ich in Hamburg bin, ein Pflichtbesuch ?
