Placed an online order and was told 20 min. Showed up after 30 min and they said they hadn’t started it. Said it would be at least another 25 min. Guy gave us lip and said just cancel it and order from somewhere else but it’ll be just as bad there. What an AH.

The most amazing roast beef wrap I have ever eaten!!! The roast beef is fresh, adding the roasted pepper, gorgonzola & balsamic dressing, GENIUS!!!
Mike & Drew are very friendly. This is the best place for fresh wraps & sandwiches

I took a girl here for lunch who unbeknownst to me was originally from Jersey(apparently the deli capital of the world). Her feedback about having finally found the most legit deli submarine sandwich place, whatever you want to call it, after our meal, came With the conviction of gospel. I having also been raised in “the deli capital of the world,”, really have to swear by their sammies. Boar’s Head cold cuts( the absolute best), properly shredded deli lettuce to absorb the dressing like a sponge, ribbon thin sliced onions that sweat that sweet onion flavor into the rest of the sandwich(especially on their legendary Italian). Okay enough is enough, that is until you walk in and realize you get to place your order with the lovely Brook. She is the lovely professional woman who will greet you at the counter and take your order. Apparently she took a sabbatical from a successfully blossoming career modeling in Western Europe, all while simultaneously teaching Brail to underprivileged children and successfully defending the kajukempo flyweight men’s title for nearly two years now.

Come by for a delicious sandwich, and meet some very kind hearted Interesting people in the process.

And they also employ the 2024 Ferrante’s Choice Wrap Wrapper Champion(I believe this is a James beard foundation recognized designation, but don’t quote me on it) so likely you’ll find yourself in good hands here.w a delicious sandwich

Highly recommend!! The service is great, Drew was very kind and friendly. You can tell he’s happy to be there! The subs are amazing, with tons of options for everyone!! This is a family owned shop and you can feel it 🙂

Had an excellent wrap. The way they cut the meat is different or something - got double the meat and wasn’t heavy at all. Easy going and small little spot to get takeout. Very clean inside too.

Edit: still great after reopening under new owners. My wrap was as thick as a Chipolte burrito.

As one of the three reasonably priced places you can get lunch on Atlantic Avenue, Sandwiches by the Sea does not disappoint. It's a hole-in-the-wall where you can get a good sub. Does it need to be anything more? No. No it does not.

Thursday 7/6 @ 4pm - employee was rude & sandwiches were dry & tasteless. They were out of some ingredients toward the end of the day (good for them!) However, instead of being proactive and offering what was available the lady coldly recommended we go elsewhere if we want chicken- wow!

Menu says each sandwich comes with lettuce, tomato & mayo but what she gave us was bone dry (see pic for turkey and ham). It’s hard to believe that they were even out of Mayo. I was excited to try this spot but have to say “stay away” if you’re looking for any sort of quality service or food. Lunch was ~$35 with drinks and chips and I feel like I could have gotten a better sandwich at a gas station!
