Great sandwiches in a relaxed dive-y atmosphere.

A Full bar complements a curated menu of unique sandwiches.

I had "The Dad" and it was great. My friend had "The Freak"... And we'll.. it was freaky.

Highly recommend a stop.

We ordered The Babe and The Sink. You know both options are amazing when your favorite item depends on what is currently in your mouth. The fact that the vegetarian sandwich competes with the meat option surprised me, but the crunch and flavor made it a star. I typically prefer a crunchy crust to the bread, whereas Joey Roses is more chewy, but this did not subtract from the meal at all.

Inside atmosphere was fun and the staff were casual and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Joey Roses to others and I look forward to my next visit.

Biting into that sandwich after my workout was a borderline magical experience. I had to loop back to tell them that it was so good. The bread, so fresh and chewy, baked to perfection. The salami, plentiful. The olive oil and vidalia onions, chefs kiss. The prices, unbeatable. And on top of all that, amazing service and vibes. S/o Raquel for being so friendly and telling me more about the shop. I’d make this a weekly spot for myself tbh

Been so excited to come to this spot once it opened! Finally did! Overall experience: salty. Came in as a 4 top and got spots at the bar. Bartender was quick to accommodate and took our orders nicely. We ordered a special “Cootelet” and The Slim kid. The special was delicious! The Slim was salty as all hell, my tongue is raw, thank god they had beers to sustain my body from dehydration. I split split sandwiches with my dude so luckily I was able to enjoy the special, my friend on the other hand took two bites of the Slim and moved on to just drinking alcohol. The bartender did notice this and told the kitchen but nothing else happened after that. The bartender, unfortunately, was an iPad baby and was glued to his phone the whole time. The bar is damn near 6ft long, bad look when the tender ain’t keeping their head up and at least pretending to be interested in guests coming in… All in all, dang. Maybe I’ll swing by again.

My friend and I drove to NY on our east coast road trip specifically to go to this sandwich shop after hearing about it so much on Joe’s podcasts. The sandwiches were delicious and the vibes were impeccable. The bartender/server had some fun Joe stories to tell and he was very nice! We will definitely be back when we make a longer NY trip.

Came here while I was on a bus trip to Times Square. I hear Joe talk about his sub shop on his podcasts, so I had to try it. Who knows when I'd get another chance. Took a revel cab service which was about $20 to get there, but it was worth it.

Bar tender was friendly. Whole place had a nice style to it.

I ate my rosie sub on a cocktail arcade table. It was delicious.

El lugar es chico pero tiene tooooda la onda. La gente que trabaja ahi nos atendio super friendly. Tienen varias opciones de sandwiches, y nosotros nos compramos el que nos recomendaron ellos. Por los ingredientes no parecen buenos, pero la verdad es que estan suuuuper ricos. Ademas, son irreplicables. Super recomendable.
