After being with Itex many years I finally decided to close my account. I called my account manager in Fresno and she stated that I had 140.00 left to spend.

I now live in San Diego and have been working with Ana Primeau at that office with no problems. Well on June 30th I called and told her I would like to order 3 gift certificates from Deep Tan. She stated she was leaving and asked me to please shoot her an email with my request. I did. 2 weeks later and I had no certificates. I called again and she stated she didn't get the email. While on the phone with me she checked her spam folder, found it, and said again she'd take care of it.

Another few weeks go by and I hear nothing from her. Then the next billing cycle passes and I call on 8-4-15 and she states she already took care of it, that the certificates are coming from Connecticut and take time. So I call my broker in Fresno to say the certificates are ordered and I ask to please close the account. Melodie looked up my account and said they had not been sent, so I kept her on the line and called the San Diego office back. During that time Ana ran the certificates through. So Ana had lied to me. She did not do it a few weeks earlier.

As Melodie saw the sale go through, she closed my account and I received the letter from ITEX stating I have a balance now. That is because my charge did not go through before the billing cycle.

I called back the San Diego office asked to speak to a manager. The man who answered Mel stated he was the manager and I told him of the situation. He apologized and said he'd call me back. He did not; he had Ana call back. She stated that I keep calling the office and told me to call anymore, that they were not going to credit my account.

I have never had a business Manager handle a situation like this or an employee lie and speak to me in such a way. I am very disappointed. I have loved being with ITEX all these years and have had a great relationship with the staff in Fresno, however these are not the kind of people you want to work with. I own 2 locations for my business and if my employees were lying to customers and talking to them like that, I would handle that much differently. Pass on thiis office.
