We had the pleasure of working with Jess after we parted ways with our original wedding planner, and from the moment Jess took over, all of our worries completely disappeared. Unfortunately, our old planner created a lot of turmoil for us, but Jess stepped in and made sure we were set up for success. Stepping into a wedding already in progress isn't easy, yet Jess handled everything with such grace and expertise that it felt like she had been with us from day one. She took the time to understand every vision, detail, and plan we had in mind, and then elevated them beyond our expectations.

Planning our destination wedding from the US was an emotional rollercoaster, especially after a rocky start. Initially, we had an incredible venue and wonderful owners, but the planner they introduced us to raised numerous red flags. The final straw was a poorly vetted DJ introduced to us by our original planner who stole our $1.2K deposit and ghosted us. Feeling defeated, we had to part ways with both the venue and the planner less than a year before our wedding. It was a frustrating and stressful situation.

Enter Jess. Skeptical about whether a wedding in France was even feasible after our previous experience, I was pleasantly surprised during our first video call. From the moment we met, Jess's calm demeanor and professionalism stood out. It was clear she was different.

Throughout the planning process, Jess handled numerous curveballs with grace, patience, and utmost professionalism. She went above and beyond, ensuring no detail was overlooked. One standout moment was when she did a tasting for us since we couldn't be there in person. Her constructive feedback on the food was invaluable.

We often remarked that without Jess and the DT team, we would have been lost. She was our advocate, navigating challenges with integrity and a level of commitment that gave us peace of mind. To add complexity, we had two ceremonies over the weekend to celebrate our marriage in a way that honored both of our cultures. This was DT’s first Indian wedding, and it was executed flawlessly. You can see the high standards Jess and Mihai uphold.

As for cocktails, we were fortunate that Mihai is a professional mixologist. He crafted our signature cocktails after a busy day of coordinating, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about them. Guests were in awe by just watching him work his magic behind the bar. Even those who rarely drink went back for seconds!

In the weeks leading up to the wedding, I felt nervous, but my spouse continually reminded me that we were in the best hands possible. On the wedding weekend, we were able to relax, knowing Jess, Mihai, and Kaylee had everything under control.

I genuinely feel sad that our wedding is over and that our regular communication with Jess will come to an end. The relationship we developed with her is what I hope every couple finds with their planner. Thanks to Jess and Mihai, we walked away from the weekend knowing we had the most amazing experience of our lives. Our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended.

We are incredibly grateful to Jess and Mihai for being our angel wedding planners. This wedding wouldn’t have been possible without them, and I will forever sing their praises to anyone who will listen!

We simply can’t put into words how amazing both Jess and Mihai were before, during and after our wedding. From finding the perfect food and wine, desserts, DJs etc as well as inspiring our vision and professionally coordinating a seamless day.

They both, alongside their colleagues worked so well together with so much determination and tenacity, nothing was ever too much. We really cannot recommend Dorulete events enough.
