From the moment you walk in here, you’re immediately transported to Chicago! Great little casual spot adorned with Chicago memorabilia offering up a solid menu of the comfort food the city is known for. The owner is super friendly too and you can tell very passionate about the food. I got a small Italian beef with hot peppers and a Chicago dog. Both were excellent, but OMG, that sandwich - so full of steaming hot and flavorful slices of tender roast beef - was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a while. To top it off, they’ve got a nice selection of craft beers to wash it down with. I’ll be back!

Awesome sandwiches, salads & hot dogs. I placed a very large order for our office (about 20 items) and they got everything right. Greek salad was fresh and large and he customized for me to make it spicy. The mozz sticks are really good! Definitely homemade and the marinara is great. The sandwiches are made with love and quality ingredients. The owners greeted us at the counter and the customer service was phenomenal. I absolutely recommend this place!!

Fast food, fine service. Had their Chicago hot dog, which was absolutely great, plenty of veggie topping, bun meat all good. Their signature Italian sandwich was very so so on the other hand. Good quality meat. Too wet, so the bun didn't hold and you're basically eating a sandwich with a fork. Missing some veg on the sandwich. Good selection of beers, chill vibe, too loud music.

Enjoyable thick reuben hot dog, sandwich, and tasty pan pizza. The food tasted fresh, though it took a while to be ready. I almost never get sausages, but I'd get Bobbi's again.

Solid Chicago dog. Great vibe, nice folks, extensive menu. I wish the dogs came with more fries, I got like literally three (what you see in the pic is what I got) and one was inedibly hard. The Italian left a little something to be desired, but I’m excited to come back and try the other sandwiches. Biggest surprise here was how incredible the homemade olive tapenade is, full of pickled peppers and other goodies. I took some to-go to put on everything I own, it’s so delicious.

Excellent sandwich shop. You could tell the food was created and crafted with care. The chicken parm was outstanding.

Now the main event, I got the cheesy Italian Beef. Great bread, good portion, perfect amount of cheese. Not too much. The beef was really good, I do like it a bit thinner cut but that’s nitpicking. I will say the hot giardiniera is HOT. Like leave you sweating under your eyes hot. IMO it’s like 15% too hot. Kinda became the centerpiece of the sando rather than the beef.

But all that said this place rocks. Great vibe and staff and killer food.

I ordered a half meatball sub sandwich that rocked my world! The bread was crispy yet soft, and the meatballs were perfect. The owner of the shop was also very friendly and came around to each of the tables to follow up on the food. Such amazing service.

I am looking forward to returning soon.

First off, I'm sorry but namesake Italian Beef just wasn't good. Meat was very peppery and tasted lower quality than any Italian Beef I've had in Chicago. Especially at the price point I expected way better.

Next, onto to pizza. The pan style is solid. However, I don't understand the pricing here. They posted the official menu 3 weeks ago which shows a pan pizza at $12. Come in and it's $15..apparently they raised the price in the last. couple weeks. Also is for the base pizza. I understand the sausage price of $4, but $3 for green onions on a relatively small diameter pan pizza seems ridiculous to me.

Finally, the Chicago dogs are solid for what they are. Good giardiniera and they get the job done.

I appreciate the different specials and events they are experimenting with and would like to try the deep dish, but overalI don't think the price and value of this place works out for me.
