Amazing find from First Table! Such a lovely tucked away restaurant. Smaller portions but of course this is a casual fine dining joint with delicious food. My partner and I particularly loved the fried artichoke, beef tenderloin and pistachio dessert!

The service attitude was very poor, and the ordering process was unprofessional. We weren't even given time to enjoy our dessert. I’m not sure if this was due to the half-price offer, but the portions were also disappointingly small.

The above comments reflect my true thoughts. If our dining time is limited to two hours, why did you inform us that the dining period was from 5:30 to 7:30 when we used the first table, instead of advising us that we must leave by 7:30 upon arrival? We had already ordered our meal at 6 o'clock and asked your waiter for recommendations. The response we received was that the menu was already available, and there was no proactive introduction to the today's fish or how to cooked it. We decided to add dishes because the prawn noodles we ordered only contained four sticks of paste（photo1 $38), which was quite small. Shouldn't if your fine dining restaurant ask if we would like dessert as our dining time comes to an end, rather than urging us to leave quickly?

An intimate Italian restaurant on a relatively quieter street in Paddington, Civico 47 makes me think back of my trips to Europe. The restaurant is separated into 2 main areas - a small room at the front - targeted for the courses with a romantic vibe - and the areas at the back, for a more casual theme. Food wise, the flavours are interesting, with some minor asian influence throughout the garnishes. The pastas though, were slightly harder than what I've had usually and unfortunately was luke warm when it was served - in particular the mafalde. However, I highly recommend the semifreddo and duck. These were perfectly prepared, with the right textures and balance of flavours. I also tried the tiramisu which is slightly more dense and intense on flavours - perfect for those who like their stronger coffee and cream. The staff were quite friendly and professional. Service came relatively quickly. The wine list is extensive and includes some 0 alcohol wines. If you want a picture perfect date, I'll suggest to visit during a lunch session, as the large windows invite the sunlight and outside greenery. Worth a visit if you are within the area ?

And let's not forget the impressive wine selection, offering something for every palate. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Civico 47!

An elegant understated restaurant tucked away in a quiet corner of Windsor St in Paddington. The squid ink Corzetti and the braised beef cheek are highlights and so is the easy going yet professional service. We will be back.

Unbelievable great food. Although I didn’t chat with the chef, I feel that the chef is someone who loves cooking and strive for perfection. The cooking time for each dish is controlled to perfection. Every single dish I ordered was especially delicious. Please don’t miss this restaurant.
