Saw folks on Reddit hyping this place up as Lucky Boy's breakfast burrito rival, so I had to check it out.

Pulled up at lunch and the line was packed with construction workers and locals - usually a good sign! They've got a simple takeout window setup, and each burrito comes with green salsa (grab extra, you'll need it).

Real talk though? Pretty disappointed. The burrito's smaller than Lucky Boy's and just... meh. Everything's all separated inside - spongy eggs on one end, way too many salty fries on the other. Cool that they tried using crispy fries for texture, but it just didn't work.

Save yourself the trip and stick with Lucky Boy's. This spot might be popular, but it's not worth the hype.

A classic, old-school, LA style diner and takeout spot.

This place has been around for so long because it’s consistently good in every aspect. The food is fresh, service is great, prices are reasonable, and it’s a convenient way to grab a quick lunch.

The grinders are all great, especially the original combo. Tried the chicken Parm special for the first time and it didn’t disappoint.
Also, don’t sleep on the fries. They definitely hit the spot.

This is a small (covered outdoor seating for 12-16 people around back) walk-up hamburger joint with additional things on the menu, including some Mexican items. The food here isn't the best I've ever had, but it's definitely good for what it is. Service is nice enough, prices are alright, and it's decently quick with getting your order out. It can get busy depending on when you go, so keep that in mind.

I've been here a few times and always try something new each time, and everything has been good. This time I got chili cheese fries, and a bean and cheese burrito. The chili cheese fries were pretty good -- nice size portion, and a slight sweetness to the chili. These fall a bit short in comparison to The Hat, for example, but were still good. The burrito was great, with a healthy amount of cheese. The beans are good, but nothing crazy.

Overall, I enjoy this place every time I come, and do recommend trying it at least a couple of times. That being said, to be perfectly honest, I do think it's slightly overrated.

We had the Western burger, onion rings, and fries. All were delicious and made to order. There is a small dining area inside and we appreciated the dedicated, free parking lot. I recommend this place and would return.

Great neighborhood burger joint. The place is always busy. The price is surprisingly affordable. The signature double burger meal (plus fries and a drink) is less than $11, and the size of the order of fries and drink are a large. Good deal if you’re craving a burger.

I gotta say I enjoyed it. Lots of good looking options. Definitely worth it if you are in the area. Sandwiches and burgers are solid.

Stopped by on a Sunday for a quick bite. Got the turkey grinder (one of their tip sellers) and was not disappointed. Everything about the sandwich was done right and they kept it simple. I will definitely be backnto try other menu items

Just came by to get one large fry and ice cream. None of the workers are wearing gloves..The fries were Not Fresh. They were refried so many times I almost chipped a tooth, hard as a rock. As a customer for over 20 years. This is massively disappointing.
