I've been looking forward to visiting this place again. Got the meatball sandwich and was not disappointed. I'm definitely coming back for the sausage or pastrami sandwich. It's definitely a place to visit and enjoy a good Italian Dali restaurant.

A local go-to so we finally had the chance to check it out during our recent trip to SoCal. No frills type of spot. Turn and burn so it's not hard to grab a table since people order, eat and leave in a timely fashion. Plus, pack up as many peppers as your little heart desires. We sure did and it complimented our sandwiches.

We had the Chicago roast beef special w/pepper jack cheese, the roast beef+pastrami+provolone and a kids salami+turkey+pepper jack cheese. The meat to bread ratio was plentiful. No skimping here. The au jus was seasoned perfectly.

We noticed they had the lasagna special today (Thursday). Will have to add it to my list to try on our next visit.

Parking is a challenge since it's only curb parking available. We walked about a block which was not bad at all. We'll be back.

Had the lasagna (only sold Tuesday and Thursday) and it was delicious so my family and I went back for another meal and was a little disappointed. The filing was still cold inside but they offered a refund and I appreciated that. I tried the sandwich and it was delicious. What do you all think? Stop by it’s got a good atmosphere

"I had a sad sandwich today."
We we're excited to try a hot sandwich today from the Eastside Deli. We hopped on the metrolink at the San Bernardino Station. We arrived at Union Station and walked to your nice-looking Deli. My excitement fell to the floor when the door was closed today. I wasn't aware that your establishment is closed on Saturdays. On your schedule, it says you're open on Saturdays, closing at 3 pm. I haven't given up, tho lol. We will be back and try a number 7. I'm glad we found your deli.

Situated in the heart of Downtown L.A, Eastside Italian Deli is an excellent spot to grab a filling lunch. Recently, I had the spicy Italian sub that was full of flavor. Fresh ingredients and the right balance in terms of spices really made it stand out. The feel of the deli itself is nice old school and the staff seems very kind and efficient. This would be a good place for a quick, filling lunch. While parking can be a nightmare, the great food makes it well worth it. Highly recommended for anyone craving that true deli experience!

Delicous sandwiches. Recommend The Bear special and #7.

Hot sandwiches are juicy and satisfying. The portions are very large. You will get messy from most of the hot sandwich options but this isn't a fancy spot.

When I'm near downtown, this is the place for hot or cold sandwiches! Fresh rolls and slabs of meats. Friendly staff. Cool old pictures on the wall.

Was recommended Eastside by a friend and it did not disappoint.
