So glad I stopped by for a sandwich. They really appreciate new customers and make sure to answer any questions you may have about the menu. The sandwiches very filling, flavorful and worth the trip. Everyone there was so nice and welcoming and even made sure to hook it up since it was my first time there. Will be going back.

I finally managed to stop in after years of hype about this place. It definitely lived up to the hype.

I'm not a big fan of philly cheesesteaks, but this one really blew my socks off!

It had plenty of meat, the bread was fresh and soft - not chewy like some bread types can be on cheesesteak sandwiches. The bread absorbed just enough of the juice to make it moist, but not to the point where it was soggy. I ordered the sammy just like they created it - well, almost. I added jalapenos.

The staff were soooo friendly and welcoming. I ordered the sammich to go and it was still piping hot (and not soggy) when I got home 10 minutes later.

Check this place out, kids!

I cannot recommend this place enough! From being immediately greeted as we walked in to having the menu and how to order explained, the level of customer service here is fantastic. The Philly cheese steak is a standard "must try" when going to an establishment that sells them; and here, it's the staple. You want hot and fresh? It doesn't get hotter nor fresher. The sandwich was packed and definitely filling. There's a reason Gino's Deli has been chosen as one of the top two restaurants in San Antonio for almost 10 consecutive years and that's not going to change anytime soon. If you're looking for validation about picking Gino's Deli for a place to eat; here it is. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and try Gino's Deli today.

I've been to this place several times and every time has been a Five-star experience.

Every sandwich I've had here is fantastic, the service is friendly and is a nice environment to grab some lunch. They also have a nice selection of drinks and chips including glass bottled sodas.

If you're in the area (and even if not, I drive thirty minutes to grub down here) it's DEFINITELY worth the stop!

Amazing staff and laid back atmosphere. The smokestack is my new go to sandwhich. First time here and they cover the cost of your chips and drink. They also didn’t have any hot sauce packets to take to go so they gave me a whole bottle of hot sauce instead. Excellent experience!

My first time stopping at Gino’s Deli did not disappoint! It was kind of odd at first walking in because it looked like a gas station corner store, but a man greeted me, gave me a menu, and shared his favorites. The service was excellent and loved the environment, but I had to take it to-go. The sandwich was great and I definitely want to go back to try other menu items!

I would call this place a deli - but not a restaurant. Fast and friendly service. All of the high top tables are communal. I got the Steak Italian without the lettuce, tomato and mayo. I could never understand why you would ruin a cheesesteak with those items. Very tasty and filling!

I enjoyed our meal! Jim was so friendly to us, helping us with the menu and bringing the food out. The tables are high tops which were a challenge with a little one. I like the corner store concept, you can add drinks or snacks. I appreciated that my bread was fresh and the toppings were still fresh (not soggy). Be sure to specify if you want your sandwich toasted (we didn't think to ask and my kiddo didn't like it.
