Authentic flavors and great portions for a good price! I loved the food here, veggies cooked to perfection and the rice was delicious. Would definitely recommend the lunch specials

Im new to the area and this was the first Chinese spot we tried and I feel so lucky our first go was a 9/10. Like the other reviews, I’m also from up north so I’m a snob when it comes to Chinese food cause FL has really bad Chinese food and bagels compared to Jersey. This is top tier Chinese take out I have had a few different places in Orlando but this spot hits every time that wings and rice slaps every time I also have the sweet an sour chicken which was good also there 4.5 ⭐️ is justified

I was at Hai San years ago, and I loved it. I went back after all this time and still loved it. Good, old fashioned 1950s-1970s Chinese Food, made to perfection. They even have old school, White Sauce Chicken Chow Mein...if you understand that reference, then you know what to expect...great Chinese Food from a bygone era. If it weren't more than an hour's drive from my house by highway, I would take food out from Hai San on a regular basis. It was good years ago, and still is the best Chinese Food I have had in Central Florida!

ORIGINAL REVIEW
My wife and I were staying at the Fairfield Inn and Suites right near Hai San and were in the mood for Chinese food, but too tired to go out to eat, so placed an order for pickup and brought it to our room.

Although we live in Maryland, we are originally from New York. And like most New Yorkers, we are snobs when it comes to pizza, bagels and Chinese food 🙂

Well, Hai San passed the snob test. We thoroughly enjoyed our order of shrimp rolls, spare ribs, and Moo Shoo Pork. Also, when we told them we were bringing the food to our hotel room, they supplied us with plates, and plastic utensils.

The food was well prepared, hot, tasty and reminded me of our take-out places in New York!

I feel like if you need a good place for cheap food and they give you a ton of food. This is it but for me I wouldn’t be going back my rice was hard. peas and carrots looked old and onions. The spare ribs were OK. My hubby had diarrhea right after. egg drop soup had slimy pieces of the yolk in it which I’ve never seen before in my mix wonton an egg drop soup. Egg rolls and shrimp were ok. Shrimp smelled weird.

Best Chinese takeout in the greater Orlando area. I'm from Jersey and have been looking for years to find some where that holds up to Chinese food in NY/NJ and this is my go to spot, won't go anywhere else. Great value, large portions, everything is cooked properly; nothing is ever too sweet or overcooked like most places I have tried.

Don't be fooled by the appearance, this is one of the best Chinese Food Restaurants I've found. Portions are huge, fair prices and everything so far has been delicious! Staff is very friendly and helpful. I'm hooked on the Chef Special Singapore Mei Fun, great flavor and just the right amount of heat. The Sweet and Sour Chicken, Vegetable Fried Rice and Orange Chicken are also very delicious. Give this place a try -- you won't be disappointed.

Y’all, I’ve been living here for over +10 years and had no idea this gem existed. I got takeout, the food was so fresh and so delicious! Their chili oil is also a *chefs kiss*? The chefs in the back were hard at work, give this place some love!
