Très bon restaurant haïtien, j'y suis allé environ 3 fois, la nourriture a été délicieuse et c'est le restaurant haïtien de New York avec la meilleure option en terme de prix, ils proposent des services à des prix raisonnables, le même service (peut-être même mieux) pour un moindre coût. La seule chose que je veux que vous corrigiez c'est que quand c'est fermé, il faut que les gens puissent le voir sur Google, souvent sur Google il est écrit "ouvert" et tu arrives au restaurant, c'est fermé. Il ya environ deux semaines de cela, j'ai parcouru Manhattan-Brooklyn juste pour aller au restaurant car j'avais très envie d'un bon plat haïtien, j'ai vérifié sur Google, c'est écrit "ouvert" et quand je suis arrivé sur place, c'etait fermé car le local était en réparation. Ça m'a pas du tout plus ! Il faut corriger ça, c'est très très important. Sinon c'est la bonne nourriture à un prix raisonnable !

Today we came to eat at this place and it was so amazing. I am not Haitian but the food was so delicious. It was so good that I forgot to take a picture of the plate. As I eat the black rice it was so good and also it’s very good to be together with people who welcome you with opened arms. Definitely recommend this place. If there was more starts I would definitely give it a 10.

I was in the mood for Haitian food and found this spot. I called in my order of the fried turkey and black rice. There was a little language barrier, but she understood my order. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked into the restaurant, and the food was ready. I paid about $18 for the medium size and left. When I dug in, the food was really good. I enjoyed the turker and the black rice. All in all I had a good experience.

Super delicious Haitian food is what you will find at Joenise.

If you have never tried Haitian food before you should know it is one of the most flavorful foods in the Caribbean.

I had a dish of turkey, rice, plantain, pea soup, and a very, very tasty sauce. I ate everything on the plate. I didn't even have a grain of rice on the plate when I finished. We loved the food.

There is a lot of variety because the menu changes everyday so you can have a different dish depending on which day you visit.

The orange and brick colored interior is clean and has an inviting ambiance. Joenise also has great sounding speakers that allow you to enjoy the smooth sounds of Zouk as you eat. The music will make you want to dance.

I highly recommend eating at Joenise. We cannot wait to go back.

Just had the best group dinner here! I got 15 of my friends to come and eat here because I wanted them to taste soup joumou and the service was amazing!!! She let us do a mini take over of the shop, played music, and had treated our party so well after we went to a restaurant that charged u $67 per head just to have soup for the evening. Her prices were fair and she really put her customers first and I felt really proud to have my friends see the best side of supporting a Haitian business that loves their customers. Definitely will return.

I get that Zanmi is well advertised, but Haitian food is ultimately about community. We were scoffed at when we wanted to bring a group. I’m glad there are places like Joenise that give us options for Haitian dining.

The food was really delicious and abundant, event though I selected the “medium” size portion.

The smoothies were also great, we tried number 1 and 16.

The music or radio was too loud in my opinion, and it made it hard for me to talk with my party.
The attention could have been a little warmer.

Called beforehand to ask for soup joumou and they said yes but when I arrived they first said theres no more before actually telling me that they burnt the soup. Took them many minutes before acknowledging my presence and service was so difficult because the employee serving me barely spoke english or french. Dont know about the food but makes it hard to want to go back.
