Je suis en vacances et, je découvre ce plus beau restaurant Caribbean Haitien du coin! Diri djondjon fait maison avec de très bonne sauces faits maison. Les poissons et les frites aussi. On a essayé du jus grenadia cheese burger (une tuerie). Le poisson grillé était top, avec une sauce bien piquante. Très belle présentation des burgers, et un service assez rapide. Je recommande vielvement ce restaurant!

By far, this is the best restaurant in the US. The place is small and personal. The food is simply amazing. The atmosphere is very nice. I will go there each time I visit Tampa for sure. We had the "Patté Poulet" and Lalo with white rice and black beans. L

First time eating from here and it’s really good. I love the pikliz was spicy and amazing. I loved how well the black rice was made even when mixed with the sauce. The poul fried chicken was fried crispy to perfection. I don’t know about you but I enjoyed this meal. I also had some oxtail which was well seasoned and tender. Again the sauce was amazing with the rice. But y’all really need to fix the sign. It was very hard to locate. Honestly I’ll be back.

Let me tell you about this hidden gem in Tampa that had me doing a happy dance in my truck! I’m a truck driver, and trust me when I say this: I know good food. I was craving Haitian food so bad, and this spot didn’t just satisfy me—it blew my mind. It’s been a minute since I’ve had Haitian food (shoutout to Hollywood, Florida), but this place took me right back with every single bite.

I walked in thinking I’d grab a plate and leave. Nope. I left $70 lighter because I bought everything. The sauces? Yup, had to take ‘em. The food? Let’s just say I needed a moment of silence after the first bite. Every. Single. Bite. was like a party in my mouth where the guest list was just pure flavor.

Not only was the food fire, but the customer service was top-tier too. They treated me like family. And then the lady hit me with the cherry on top: “Some days, we teach people how to dance Kompa!” (Okay, I may have butchered that spelling, but you get it.) Now, I wasn’t there for the dance lessons, but the thought of dancing after a meal this good? Sensual, beautiful, and probably hilarious after all that food. I’ll definitely be back for that!

If you’re in Tampa and you don’t stop here, we can’t be friends. Do yourself a favor: pull up, fill up, and thank me later!

Sorry for the late post. I ate there yesterday and I’m enjoying my food that I bought for the next day right now so I’m just excited and I’m happy thank you so much. Oh just so you know I got: Tassle turkey black beans that are off the chain, all the pickles that they could find The (spicy coleslaw stuff for people that don’t know.)
And for the other meal I got To go , I got Legume with rice. I got three single bottles of hot sauce, different flavors and I got one huge mason jar of their sauce that you can eat with like bread and like another meats and also got the ginger beer I was so happy and I’m about to be super happy right now. About to eat this food right now.

The service! The food! AMAZING! I’m from South Florida and I can honestly say, they have some competition!! The owner is super sweet and the food never disappoints. Best place in Tampa FL.

The plaintains were hard and they didn't have any pikliz. In addition, the rice they gave me was full of gratin and it was a kid size. They are only getting 3 stars because the meat was good. All the sides were trash

First visit while visiting Tampa and I really enjoyed the food. The rice was tasty and not dry the pikliz was the perfect spice level and added dimension to the food I got the goat and it was mostly bone unfortunately but the pieces of meat there was flavorful and tender. If I’m back in Tampa I hope to visit again!

Out of all the reviews seen here I wanted to try the place out for myself and I wish I didn’t. I ordered Goat with black rice and it was tasteless. I ordered a patty on the side and the eggs were scrambled…..it should have been boiled eggs inside the patty; and the meat in the patty didn’t look or taste right. The service wasn’t that great either.
