Beautiful function rooms above the Robin Hood Hotel. Was here for a bridal shower and the food was really good! Would come here again if I'm in the area.

I recently hosted a small function for 20 guests at Lorraine’s and found it to be the perfect venue. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, and the staff were attentive and friendly. We opted for the Lunch package with added cheese and fruit platters, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. The cost for the beer and wine menu was reasonable. I also found it to be child friendly, the children enjoyed the food and felt comfortable walking around I would recommend Lorraine’s for any function and look forward to enjoying their bistro again.

Amazing service and lovely atmosphere. The staff were very accommodating of our large group for dinner and allowed us to bring in our own birthday cake at no additional charge. Easy to order from the QR code or at the bar (which is perfect for a group). I'm a happy regular and highly recommend!

Awesome fit out. What a transformation of the building. Lots of different seating options and a really nice and comfy space.

In regards to the meal, the steak frites was on point. Perfectly medium rare and nice herbed butter to go with the steak. Crispy herbed frites too. The duck was falling off the bone, but unfortunately a little too dry and a little too salty for our liking. Mussels were nice, quite a different way of presenting them, almost looking like oysters!

Staffing such a large establishment during these times must be tough, and so I will definitely forgive the service from our dining experience. Full of enthusiasm, but unfortunately lacked the skill required to go with the upmarket French bistro feel. Leaving me stranded with one beer only, they definitely left some money on the table not asking for a repeat drink order. Whilst very pleasant we were left wanting. It kind of felt like the pub downstairs had leant Lorraine their staff for the night. I'm sure another few weeks of service and they'll get the hang of it, just a little off the night we went.

Will definitely be back to check though as it is such a wonderful space. Hopefully I get to order more than one drink next time!

Pretty average French food, made better by lovely staff and fit out. The Tartare was great, as was a couple of the desserts, but everything else was just ok. Steaks were decidedly average, octopus was over cooked, and drinks were average. For the price, you should expect more.

We had our wedding reception at Lorraine's and could not recommend it highly enough. The staff on the night were outstanding, and we received so many compliments from our guests on how friendly and accommodating the staff were.

The food was great and exactly what we were looking for, the perfect balance of comfort food and something special in a canape format.

I would highly recommend Lorraine's for any event or function.

Delicious high quality plates, selection of wines and great service. The owners and staff are a delight and very welcoming. A really great vibe with some fab cocktails to boot!
We tried several of their entrees, the meat was ‘a melt in your mouth moment’ a great selection of desserts - everything was de-li-cious. Highly recommended. ?

We enjoyed a fab evening celebrating the re-opening of our office! The food was superb and the GRILL!!! The service was great and heads up to Sam the Sommelier... Great location and we will be back!

Just heard they were awarded 1 hat - well deserved and given the BS of the last few years a fantastic achievement to the team! Since reopening a few new team members have taken Lorraine's to another level - well done!
