Pretty good subs. Picked up twice here. First time had the hot chicken philly, second time the cold Italian. Hoagie is how I would define their sandwiches. Tough competition for sandwiches in the area. For $17, I can do better at Publix for a cold sub. For $17 I can do better at Sicilian Oven for a hot sub, and also get a salad if I go at lunch. It seems to be a neighborhood favorite, maybe nostalgic for some. At that price, I think I’ll have to visit some other restaurants before returning. Tough because I do enjoy supporting small business but the prices are a little too high.

I am beyond impressed with the quality and overall experience at Lou's. We ordered a 6ft sub (half Italian and half roast beef/turkey) and we could not be happier. Not only was the sub fresh and delicious, but they went above and beyond putting together all of our sides and things we wanted separate. They even threw in a shaker bottle filled with oil and vinegar! While we were waiting, the staff was giving us samples of their house-made roast beef and pork and it was delicious. Such a fun and memorable experience. Very highly recommended.

I’ve seen and ran by this place a million times but never tried it until today. I’m glad I did because their sub was absolutely fantastic!

I had the Italian style sub (I might have butchered the name) that included ham, capicola, another meat, and cheese. Topped it off with “everything” toppings including mayo and mustard, it was amazing. I ate every morsel. The meat, cheese, pickles, and onions were thinly sliced and the bread was nice and soft.

The deli meat including the toppings such as the olives weren’t salty.

I enjoyed an unsweetened ice tea with my meal.

The inside was very clean and the staff was helpful and inviting.

Better than an Italian deli I would definitely recommend.

January 2024 Update- I'll never change my mind about how delicious these subs are! The staff are wonderful people, and I always find that I talk to other customers while waiting. The vibe is always right. I did finally order the spaghetti and meatballs.... only to find out that they now make eggplant parm as well. That'll be next on the list to try. You simply CAN NOT go wrong going to Lou's. I'll be adding updated pictures with this review as well!! Love you guys at Lou's!

I've been going to Lou's FOREVER! They aren't called Giant by accident. These sandwiches are huge, fresh, and always delicious. Myself and many coworkers and I have filled the shop and stayed to eat as well as come in and take home. The staff is great and always friendly! Be prepared to walk in and be surrounded by the aroma of yummmmm
Stopped in yesterday, June 7th, and had such a great experience.... the employees are wonderful, the food is fresh and delicious, and I met another Broward County school employee, and we had a great chat while waiting for our food. Did you know that they make spaghetti and meatballs? Well, now you do!!! I'll be trying that asap!!

If you’re in the mood for a great sub or sandwich, Lou’s doesn’t disappoint. Their combos are on point, whether it’s a bag of chips with a drink as a combo or a side of their in house Mac or potatoe salad, they have what you need. I’ve been coming here for years and they are fast and delicious.

Lou Subs doesn't respect their customer base. I'm tired of their lack of customer appreciation for our DOLLARS that keep them in business. The supervisor's condoning of his employees' attitude & cussing toward customers who order food is beyond me. That behavior is a behavior of a sense of entitlement. If you can't respect your customers, my dollars can't respect your business. Not my dollars!
(P.S. This is coming from someone who advocates for a small business)
