Wow. I went to this place 20 years ago before today, and kind of am mad at myself for not returning before today. A couple extra miles shouldn't keep me from this place. Won't again. Wife and I had a GREAT experience. First, as always, is service. Isabella gave us spotless service. She provided the perfect balance of being there when we needed something, but leaving us alone to eat and talk. Mind reader. Anyway, wife got the Eggs Pontchartrain. I had a bite. Delicious. I had the creole omelet, and wasn't shy at loading it up with the creole seasoning on the table nor the hot sauce, also already on the table. I was questioned about putting cheese on everything, I said yes, I suggest you do the same, and go with the jalapeno. Their iced tea was too sweet for me, but you...do you. I just caved and got an IPA, and wife got the prosecco, which came in a classy bottle and classy glass. Isabella was nice enough not to charge me for my two sips of the sweet iced tea. I admittedly am not a biscuit person. But, if I could imagine what a great biscuit tasted like, it would be this one. Some kind of jam and butter already on the table. I found it odd that they weren't jamming out New Orleans music, but maybe they just realize that their food is so good that they don't need it. I definitely recommend, and see you there (and won't wait 20 years this time).

First time in had to do biscuits and gravy and it did not disappoint. I also tried the Cajun breakfast with an upgrade to the jalapeno cheddar grits. Everything was sooo flavorful!

Went for breakfast. Fast service which is nice. Orange Juice is better than normal Orange Juice. Will have to try more dishes to make a concussion on whether or not I enjoy the food.

Fun restaurant with fantastic food and service to match.

Started off with the Chicory coffee and beigniets. Perfectly cooked and delicious. Couldn't think of a better way to begin breakfast.

Moved on to the Shrimp and Grits with Jalapeno Cheese grits. Delicious with bits of sausage to offset the perfect creamy grits and well seasoned shrimp. Great portion and each bite being memorable. Exactly how I've had them in Louisiana.

My other half picked the Eggs Sardou. Rave reviews and my samples couldn't have agreed more. Not sure why it took so long to eat here but this is a true gem of dining.

Great price , great food, great service. This is a real 5 star

Flight landed early and needed to work somewhere til my hotel opened up. I love Cajun cuisine so thought I’d check out Lucile’s. Wow! Biscuit and homemade jam is to die for and my Cajun omelet is easily 2 meals. Hope my hotel has a microwave cause I’m not leaving anything behind. 🙂

If I had the time I would go here twice on my trip. The food here is wonderful, the biscuits are amazing. Service is friendly, and everything feels like southern hospitality. Make sure to order biscuits and beignets ! I had the eggs Jennifer with biscuits and gravy, the grits with jalapenos cheddar were absurdly good.

The cajun omlet is sooooo good. It was not super spicy, but it had a lot of flavor.

The square biscuit was unique and tasty, especially with the home style jam.

The cheesy jalapeno grits were a little overcooked and soggy, but I was happy to have some grits instead of no grits.

The ketchup is their recipe. It's delicious, so I bought a bottle to take home.

The service was great even though the restaurant was busy.
