The other day I got, Magda Restaurant, for lunch. I had ordered their, Turkey w/ White Rice, Sos Pwa, & Pikliz. This place’s food is 🔥 The turkey had excellent flavor, the white rice was cooked perfectly, and their sos pwa is some of the best I ever tried. It’s a “hole-in-a-wall”-esque restaurant, especially when ordering in person. But the food is AWESOME! The lady who took my order was really sweet, and attentive. She made sure my order was correct, and was extremely friendly. I have tried other menu items from this place, and I will post the pictures later (The Griot is 🔥🔥🔥🔥). This place is so damn good! I’d highly recommend, Magda Restaurant, to anyone in the Newark area, and is looking for some great tasting Haitian Cuisine.

This is a Haitian restaurant, and the worker in front does not know English. If you wish to speak to her, you must know Creole. The food here tastes great. I'd recommend the Lalo.

I will never go back to this restaurant! I order militon with white rice which the white rice was very hard and I mean very hard! I ordered griot and red beans and rice and they gave me white rice instead! The girl at the front didn’t know any English! Overall this restaurant is horrible! I spent $26 for nothing! Never again
