The fresh bread from the bakery next door is the best thing about the Deli. The club sandwich was good, the cheese steak was good, meatball sub didn't live up to expectations. The meatballs were cut up and the sandwich was lacking.
Service is always great at both the deli and bakery. Both have the same owner.
Definitely stop by the bakery if you're in the area.

Great little deli sandwich shop great. French fries make their own bread. Bread was amazing. Nice amount of meat on your sandwiches. My daughter had chicken tenders. They were fantastic. Just an overall great privately owned little mom and pop deli right there in the heart. Daytona definitely go get yourself a sandwich

We stumbled across this place on our way out of town, hungry and unfamiliar. While I was looking for breakfast, we ended up getting an Italian sub to have later for lunch. We were in part charmed by the staff who we SO friendly and sincere!! When we finally opened up our sub around lunch time, my wife and I ate probably one of the best sandwiches we’ve ever had. While a big portion and still very generous, the fillings were perfectly placed into the bread so that they didn’t fall out. The flavours were incredible. The bread was simply amazing and comes from a bakery nextdoor to Nelly’s where we also got to cheese danishes to go and which we would also highly recommend!!! Both Nelly’s Deli and the bakery nextdoor are fantastic and if you’re ever find yourself hungry in Daytona YOU SHOULD GO THERE.

First time I went a few weeks ago, I had a cold turkey sub. I really enjoyed the freshness of the bread and the meat. It really tasted like a deli sub. It made me want to go back and try a hot sub. I went back today and tried a hot pastrami. OMG. I’ve been trying to find a place that made a pastrami sub the way I grew up eating it and remembering the taste. I have found it! It was phenomenal. Now I want to try the rest of the menu. If anyone wants to know: I ordered a hot pastrami with grilled onions, mayo, spicy mustard, and Swiss cheese. The lady who helped me (I believe her name is Leslie. Sorry if I’m wrong) was just as friendly as she was the first time. She was that way with everyone that came in. Both times. The wait was not really a wait. I will be going back and I recommend that you go too.

We went there for the first time on Tuesday. I have been craving a good sub for awhile, and happened to hear about how good theirs were. Needless to say, we will be coming back for more!

Absolute banger!! 🔥🔥 The cashier was really nice, and informative on the menu since it was my first time there. For the food to be that good it was very affordable. Next time I’m in Daytona this will definitely be on the list of places to stop!
