I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Anneise Green months ago at a networking event. I’ve always wanted to try her food, but never had the opportunity. So when my twin brother was in town Receiving a national award, I knew I wanted to do something special for him with some great catered food. Po Green’s was the solution to my problem, and they did not disappoint! She worked within my budget, delivered hot food to my house, and the taste… To die for! If you are looking for delicious barbecue, fantastic service, and overall great experience don’t hesitate to give Anneise and Po Green’s a call!

Anneise and her crew did an amazing job with catering our wedding for about 100 guests! The food was delicious and was one of the best parts of our reception. The portions were good, and it helped to fuel us on the dance floor. There were plenty of people going up for second helpings. Even with this, there were plenty of leftovers that were still great to eat when we got home. Anneise was also very helpful and accommodating in planning our meal with good and insightful recommendations. We highly recommend her and the Po Greens crew for any event you need catered. You won't be disappointed!

We used Po Greens to deliver food for an event in early August 2024. The quotation/payment process was easy, and leading up to the event, Anneise answered all of our questions in a timely fashion. On the day of the event, she and her team showed up at the agreed time, with food hot and ready to serve! Everyone enjoyed the food (especially the brisket); we would absolutely use Po Greens again!

Went with the 1/4 ribs + pulled pork w/corn bread and 2 sides (mac n' cheese + collard greens) $16. Hubby went with the 1/4 ribs + shrimp w/corn bread and 2 sides (baked beans + coleslaw) $22. Verdict: as far as southern BBQ goes, I'm not sure it gets much better than this. Rib meat was tender and pulled right off the bones. The smoky flavor was perfectly complimented by the sweetness of the bbq sauce. Sprinkle of chili flakes gave it a little spicy kick that I liked. The fried shrimp that came with hubby's meal was a good portion, and all the sides were great. Collard greens were a little more vinegary than I'm used to but I enjoyed it more that way surprisingly. Corn bread - perfection. And there you have it. A perfect BBQ meal for an affordable price (even cheaper than Talk of the Mtn, which is also a great southern food option). Can't believe it took me this long to try this place but I'll be back to try their poboys!

So much delicious food for the prices. My 9 year old daughter and I shared a pulled pork meal. It was amazing... But so large we couldn't finish it in one sitting.

I'm a collard green fan and I loved Po's greens. Fresh made and tender.

The owner came in from making a grocery store visit. She was inspired by the ingredients available and announced she was making fresh peach cobbler and a coconut cake. We're only in town for two days... But we're returning tomorrow to have dessert!

We were passing through after a long day of drinking wine, and had ribs, chicken, and BBQ pork. All were top notch and the sides were right there too. Great food, the cook and waitress were fun and outgoing, and had good sense of humor. We will be back again!

I'll keep it brief. I'm from DC, fried catfish was a staple growing up. Po Green's has some of the best catfish I've had, bar none. Cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly. You can tell lots of care was taken to perfect the recipe. Definitely coming back to try some of the BBQ!
