Haven’t had such fresh, overloaded and tasty sandwiches for a long time! The truffle chook (chicken, truffle mayo + absolutely fresh provolone focaccia) was my personal favourite, but if you’re a fried chicken lover, please go for their panko chicken sandwich‼️❤️‍? Would be a great idea to do a takeaway and eat somewhere around the area or even the beach side! ?️?

I was actually looking for anotherr place, but as it was closed found SS as a good toasty option.

Although the place wasn't packed, they were quite busy with Uber orders (which is always a good sign), but did get my tuna melt soon after.

As they were also close to closing I thought it better to take away - and having it down near the St Kilda foreshore as good a place as any.

Overall, pretty good toasty and good service. Probably a tad pricey ($17.05) but probably more a reflection of Melbs if anything ?

Atmosphere is very basic nothing to wow about and wouldn't sit in to eat

Service - spot on! friendly lovely people would go back in for the service

Food - egg and bacon roll. Really nice and well priced. Just not 100% convinced I'd order again.

Service was great at the sandwich society, as was the vibe once it got a little busier.
The tuna melt was a bit of a let down and the truffle mushroom melt was standard. Would LOVE to see more veg options! Very VERY cheesy.. almost to the point it was hard to eat. the bread was delicious and toasted to crispy perfection.. and the addition of salt really helped. Great as a little local sandwich shop, but I probably wouldn’t drive for them again.

This is now one of the places that I would recommend for good sandwiches ?

An 11-min walk from St Kilda beach so would be great to take them out for picnics by the beach ?️?

We got their:
• Panko Chicken ⭐️ (soft & fluffy milk bun with panko chicken that is fried to perfection - extremely juicy on the inside and has a light crisp on the outside. and did you see how big it was? ? perfect for gym bros who need dem protein ? i would 100% reorder this!)
• Mushie Melt ⭐️ (not as oily / greasy as the ones from other sandwich stores which I LOVE the truffle flavour in this one is pretty strong as well)
• Cubano (has pulled pork and triple smoked ham in it)
• Shoestring Fries (perfectly salted and love the sauces)
• Green Smoothie (kiwi, pear, lime and mango)
• Mango Smoothie (mango, banana, pear and lime)

From ambience to quality of food, they have exceeded my expectations and the panko chicken & mushie melt stole the show ?. Definitely a must visit in St Kilda!

Great casual date spot to take someone who appreciates an orgasmically delicious toastie. ?

The beef brisket ragu transports you to Terry Blacks BBQ in Texas it’s that good.

Grab some takeaway and find a grassy spot on the esplanade to enjoy. ?

We went there expecting big sandwiches as the page pictures (even because they are more than 15$ each) but they are ways less filled. A bit disappointed. Still good taste and food quality.

One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in Melbourne.. we ordered the Reuben, beef brisket and truffle chook and they were all so fresh, delicious & was just chefs kiss!!! The coffees and donuts were also amazing. We finished everything so quick. Great service and will be back again!!!
