Oh boy, we were craving a good toaster and that’s exactly what we got. We had the pastrami and the mushroom truffle, both were delicious. The bread was golden brown with the crusts presenting nice and crunchy but not to the point where it cuts the roof of your mouth. Good ratio of ingredients to cheese. Service was friendly and helpful. We did have to ask for them to wipe down our table once we sat down but easily forgiven as it was quite busy and they reacted quickly to the request.

We also shared a cookies and cream donut which was fluffy and tasty as well. A great spot for a cheeky lunch meal and a treat. Highly recommend you give it a go!

A Finger-Licking Good Lunch at Sloppy Joe Deli!

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a work lunch at Sloppy Joe Deli, and I must say, it was a fantastic choice by a colleague. I ordered the truffle mushie melt, and it was absolutely divine—rich, savory, and perfectly melted. The service was professional and swift; we were seated quickly, ordered, and paid without any hassle.

One friend indulged in the pastrami toaster, which boasted a generous filling that looked incredible and tasted even better. Another friend tried the classic sloppy Joe and was impressed, mentioning he’d definitely order it again. While the bread was a bit heavier than he’d prefer, the flavor was spot on with just the right amount of seasoning, and it wasn’t overly saucy.

We paired our meals with the citrus cream brew, a refreshing treat with delightful hints of coffee and orange, topped with generous, fluffy cream.

Overall, the food was really yummy, and I highly recommend Sloppy Joe Deli for a satisfying, finger-licking good meal!

Love their toast here! They load it up and don't go stingy on the ingredient. If you go here you also need to get their Sloppy tots it was my fave. There's alsp sweets and so many drink options too ?

the food was too oily making me feel heavy after the meal. we ordered fried chicken burger, pastrami sandwich, apple cinnamon donut and a normal glazed donut. The sandwich was good but the donuts and the fried chicken especially had a strong after taste of oil. The apple cinnamon donut also had barely any difference only having small slices of apples every 3-4 bits. however this could really be a one off occurrence as i don’t see anyone having similar comments but just reviewing my personal experience and this review in no way is a reflection of the other food items they sell here !

I didn't know about this place until my group passed by it the other day. Oh boy, what a good find that was!

The tuna melt was soooo good! The tuna filling had enough tang and they gave me a generous filling of it with toasted cheese. The sourdough bread they used was yummy and toasted with butter to perfection!

My strawberry match drink was also the best I've ever had!

And do I talk about the apple fritters? I surely didn't talk while eating it! That was THE BEST apple fritters I've ever had!!!

I can't recommend this place highly enough!!!

Fitness Foodies

Great little sandwich shop serving up some nice combinations. We went for the chicken and Italian cold cuts. Both were flavour packed and fresh. The focaccia was soft, great texture and not too oily. Both were brilliant and decent serving sizes too. Will try some others in the near future.

Service was quick and attentive. Staff were friendly. The only thing I can pick on is the atmosphere was lacking, place felt a bit clinical, needs a little warmth to make it more inviting.

Saw the review online and had to try once. Went for brunch and it was surprisingly not too busy from what the review said. They have fair few seating indoor and outdoor. The set up of the venue looks clean and tidy with not much happening. Like the fact that they had simple small menu with pictures. We had coffee and some sandwiches. I had the tuna melt and my partner had the pastrami which were quite good. We also had tater tots and that was my fav. So freshly fried and crispy. The sandwiches were quite filling. As we were half way through it started getting busier and people were just lining in and outside. It does getting pretty busy but if you order something to go, it doesn’t take that long. We had a good time here having our brunch and service was quick, nice and friendly. Price for the meal was reasonable too.

Would definitely recommend.

definitely my favourite deli spot in the city!

we ordered:
- fried chicken ($17) - the fried chicken is so so juicy and full of flavour. if happiness were a sandwich, this would be it!
- truffle mushie melt ($16) - as a truffle and cheese lover, this was such a delight! definitely a must-try!!!!! ⭐️
- egg head ($14): absolutely loved how creamy and light this egg sando was, the shokupan was also very fluffy! my personal favourite for sure ◡̈
- tater tots ($6): can't get over how insanely crispy their tater tots were ?‍? my friends and i demolished the bowl so quickly!!! highly recommend adding their secret sauce ($2) and tomato relish ($2) for an extra flavour boost
- apple fritters ($6.50) - a perfect balance of sweetness and crispiness. LOVE the generous chunks of apples
- citrus brew ($8) - reminds me of the popular Mont Blanc from Good Measure!
- coco matcha ($8) - i remembered being sceptical when I first tried this drink when i visited in Feb. but omg, who knew matcha and coconut water could make such a perfect combo?
