Sonic Drive-In - Daphne, Alabama

Last time I visited on 12/15 at 9:50 , I was given vanilla soft serve cup with a dash of chocolate syrup for the shake order of the chocolate Oreo master shake I asked for (photos below). This time, I pulled up at 10:54 before closing at 11 in a pull in spot, for another damn shake (shake redemption)! As I straightened my truck up, they turned off all lights, except for kitchen lights and didn’t take my order (literally sub 5 seconds of me pushing a button after lights off because I didn’t want to park like a d*ck). This location has lost my business.

I was surprised how creative their drinks were. It gave me an experience, like a non-alcoholic cocktail, and the ingredients were very fresh and the chicken was crispy. French fries are delicious

This is the WORST Sonic on the Eastern Shore! The only positive thing that I have to say is that the staff are polite to me, but the business operations are a disaster. The quality of menu items received is almost always subpar. I only visited today because I was given a Sonic gift card. We gave up on getting milkshakes at this location years ago, because they could never make them properly. Today, I sat at the main drive thru speaker for almost TEN minutes before anyone even said a word to me! When someone finally spoke to me, they did apologize for my wait and said they were in the middle of a shift change, but this reflects terribly on management. I feel bad for the employees that have to work in such a rundown location. Fix the damn potholes, it's been years! I have about $10 left on my gift card but I won't be returning to this location anymore. And I've seen the other responses to negative reviews, don't bother encouraging me to escalate my feedback to the franchise owner, that is not my job... it is Sonics responsibility to hold their franchises accountable. I've already done my part with this one star review.

This sonic is so bad it’s comical. One person usually working. Out of everything. Nothing works. You almost can’t make it up. It’s gotten worse than any other fast food chain in our area. I’m not sure who runs it or if anyone even runs it. I’m not sure what the problem is. They just need to tear it down and start completely over. The parking lot has pot holes. Food is disgusting. Wait times are atrocious. Just imagine the worst possible fast food location and BOOM…there’s Daphne Sonic! Corporate needs to come in and either just take over with new management or franchise owner or just completely shut the place down. It might as well not even be open that’s how bad it is.

PS fast food in Alabama is risky the low wages plus state income tax doesn’t motivate staff .

If I could give a 0... I would... worst sonic ever. Used to be the best, but it has gone severely downhill this past couple years.. how is the ice cream machine down And why are the chicken tenders hard as a rock? Also.. why are the hot dogs tasting old? If I don't get food poisoning..id be surprised.

it’s the tech issues. I try really hard to be sympathetic towards fast food workers, but it’s hard when you go to order something on your 30 minute break and both the order stalls and drive-thru aren’t working, and there’s no agency from the workers to fix the issue or keep orders going. I also can’t order through the app because the check in doesn’t work. Says I’m “too far away to check in” so I have to step inside anyways. I wasted nearly my entire 30 minutes on just waiting to order, not even on the food. The whole experience ruined my night even when I did finally get my food (with mustard I didn’t ask for btw) begging to see some change here, but I feel like it’s gonna fall on deaf ears.

None of the Stalls work, the drive thru doesn’t work, the ice cream has been down for months. The order is never right. I just got chicken bites and honey mustard. Of course HM isn’t in there. Staff treats customers like an inconvenience. As restaurant manager myself, most of these things could be fixed with someone who actually cares.
