Sun Deli is absolutely fantastic! I asked George to surprise me with a sandwich, and he blew it out of the park! The sandwich was delicious, packed with fresh ingredients, and the perfect combination of flavors. The soup was equally amazing and complemented the sandwich perfectly. Well here you go.
I’ve lived at the beach since 1977 and I’m ashamed to say I had never tried Sun Deli until about 6 weeks ago my son turned me on.

Somehow I always just ended up at other “go to” local sandwich shop favorites like most folks do.

So thank you Hunter for turning me on and Bridget thanks you too. We have had at least one visit a week for the last 6 weeks.❤️

I have become a “Hot Heart Attack “ fanatic.
I have it like it comes minus onions and add Egg Salad. That sounds crazy when I heard my son order it I thought he was being too exotic. Not at all, it is CRAZY how good it is.
I wish I had one right now.

Bridget is a traditional girl and gas the Club with Provolone, heated with only mayo meat and cheese.

Here’s the secret,

I really think it boils down to excellent meat, and the bread comes in fresh every morning from Cinottis Bakery and it is outstanding.

So don’t make the mistake I did and keep driving by without stopping.
Go in and give it a try. It’s a great sandwich shop. Super nice folks and quick excellent service.

It’s a very popular place so I always go early to get a table either inside or outside.

Been wanting to try the Sun Deli for awhile. Was working in the area and stopped for lunch. Busy place! Line went quickly. Service was quick and friendly. Sandwich was good, but my expectations were higher based on other reviews. A little pricy for lunch, but you won't go away hungry. We have more work in the area so I'm sure I'll go back.

Been going to Sun Deli in Jacksonville Beach Florida for years. Very convenient location just 2 blocks from the beach front. I love their friendly staff, delicious sandwiches and salads and clean well lit store. There’s seating indoors and outside out front too. I tried a Chef Salad with turkey and roast beef with ranch dressing…so good! Become a regular at Sun Deli - you’ll be glad.

Sandwich was very tasty. Ordered the Gnarly Charlie. Love the Muenster cheese! Ordered a few different soups to try. Potato was the best. The vegetable beef and Ham and Bean I think the chef spilled the entire salt container in the pot. It was soooo salty I couldn’t eat it. Overall food was good but layoff the salt in the soups.

Extremely underwhelmed. Ordered the Beach Girl and it had maybe two slices of meat on it. Absolutely swimming in mustard, so it was the only thing I could taste on it. Not only that, the fact that you have to pay for water is absolutely RIDICULOUS. This is my second time here and I have not been pleased with either of my visits. The sandwich was too overpriced and I could have fully made a better one at home -- I will likely not be returning.

We stopped at Sun Deli on a February Saturday afternoon after walking down Jacksonville Beach. It is a couple of blocks west. We were very pleased with the choices offered. We both had wraps. Each one was made to order with our specified choices. I even had mine heated which was awesome. There are several tables eat at. When we were there it was busy, but our order came very fast and was delicious. Definitely recommend!
