This place is one of the best sandwich shops I've ever been to. It's like a cross between a cool dive bar and a New York deli. The food is obviously excellent but the vibe in this place is just total port aransas. It's casual, fun, easy going and everything that makes this part of Texas awesome. Sandra and Louis took excellent care of me and helped make my experience there great. I'm kind of mad I just discovered this place but I'll be going back a ton in the future.

In town visiting some family and they recommended we try this Sandwich Shoppe. It was great, the atmosphere is surfy/beach like fitting the name and location. The service was great the workers seemed happy to be there it took about 15 minutes to get our food. We had the crab cake sandwich and baja shrimp tacos, the crab cake was AMAZING. The most amazing crab cake I have ever eaten thus far in my life, I say this very sparingly as I have had a ton of crab cakes as appetizers at some thousand restaurants. This one legitimately deserves a rewards its huge in portion and the savory bread toasted with a soft top compliments it extremely well. It was so great it warrants another trip while I am still down here.

Delicious sandwich!!! We waited about 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches (to go). It’s a pretty cramped little restaurant but we made do. It smelled like cleaning products but we were there just 1 hour after opening so understandable. Super tasty, we were overall very happy we stopped here!

This place is really good. Stopped by yesterday around 5ish. I had the cold roast beef sandwich and a margarita. Both were pretty damn good. It's a pretty chill establishment. Was not disappointed

The menu has great options, the music was actually pretty good but not too loud, the food was hot and fantastic, and it seemed like the dudes working really wanted to do a good job and really cared about the product they were putting out. I got a grilled cheese with him and broccoli salad.

Overall just really impressed, I’m sure you could get away with doing things average on the island but you can tell the folks who run this place really care and take pride in it. Awesome stuff.

This is my favorite spot, by far, when I'm traveling through! The vibe is mellow, despite the small size, and the employees are friendly and welcoming. The fish is absolutely delicious; it literally melts in your mouth. My favorite pick would definitely be the Blackened Mahi Mahi with a side of bacon mac! I recommend checking this place out!!

Best sandwich shop in the area! The portions are big and their potato salad is bomb! I love being able to sit out on the patio; however, yesterday was the first time I sat inside and the ambience is truly inviting! The food does take a few to prepare so, get something cold to sip on and grab a copy of the Island Moon in the meantime. Look how gorgeous my Reuben was!

This was the second time my family had been here. Our first time was great. Food was amazing and atmosphere was perfect. We decided we would take our extended family here when we visited again. We were some of the first in to place an order and it took over 40 minutes for, a pastrami on rye, pineapple chicken, 2 grilled cheese, a burger, and tacos to come out. Got there at 11 right when they opened and didn’t leave until well after 12:30. In the mean time people who ordered after us came and went while we still didn’t have any food. I felt so bad when half the order came out and it was still another 10-15 minutes before the second half came out. I understand it was a big order, but it is just sandwiches and not complicated ones. Very disappointed and probably won’t be coming back which is a real shame because the food is good.
