The yucca fries were probably the best I ever had and the fish sandwich was awesome. Would definitely recommend!!

Omg, when I say this sandwich is bussing! Hot gooey, cheesy, plenty of meat, buttery, definitely going again!! Called in the order food was hot and ready! The staff was nice and attentive. Very clean inside!

We walked in on a very dimly lit intimate situation today with football on the TV which transformed into sampling of three dishes with good tunes in the background. Jason walked my two friends through the menu as well offered us the carne asada and pulled pork to try. The carne asada was a winner between the three of us.

My friend ordered the carne sandwich with chicha to drink, my other friend ordered the carne asada bowl with cilantro rice as did I, along with a papaya drink. The food was phenomenal. The bursts of flavors from the meat, the sauces that came with the dishes just gave it that extra punch. Jason also gave us orders of yucca fries on the house which paired so well with our carne asada.

Many thanks for Jason, his team for the delicious food and their hospitable service. I'd definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Just awesome food and friendly people. The sandwich was great (they put the spicy sauce on the side for me) and the yucca fries w red and green sauces truly unique - and delicious. The chicha morada juice “pairs well” and not too sweet.

When I come in this restaurant, I really feel the atmosphere of the people and the food. The menu is so exotic to me. The way some of the most healthiest things can be rearranged and put together that has a good taste and is extremely healthy for you. I love that I recommend this to anyone. Even the grilled cheese?It's something like I never tasted before

El restaurante el ambiente y servicio son buenos hasta inclusive en la comoda luce bien pero cuando ordene sweet potatos fueron 6 dolares a juzagar por la calidad estaban secas y los cortes delgaditos cuando pedi el sandwich de pollo a la braza que costo $16 no era lo que esperaba no tenia para nada el sabor de pollo a la brasa parecia pollo frito y estaba muy grasosa,en lo especifico la sándwicheria no tiene el tradicional sabor peruanoo que se asemeje a ello, soy peruana y creo que deberia mejorar en la calidad de los platos y sabor !

My husband and I recently ate lunch here for the first time, and I really can’t rave highly enough about the quality of the food. He ordered a chicken bowl; I ordered the fish sandwich. My meal was a work of art: Incredibly fresh ingredients beautifully prepared, and so much food that I took half home for lunch the next day. The fish was fresh and flaky. The fried tomato was a stunning costar. The slaw and sauces were in perfect proportion.

The owner gave us a complimentary serving of yucca fries that were incredibly fresh and perfectly crisp- and we’ve eaten yucca fries many a time at one of NYC’s beloved Peruvian chains, which doesn’t hold a candle to the quality of ingredients here.

While the atmosphere is casual and relaxed, the quality of the food is artisanal, the most special meal we’ve had in a long time. What a treasure for Springfield avenue! Go eat there, please 🙂
