Pretty much a guarantee that I will stop at this sandwich shop in Chinatown. Sandos are thoughtfully constructed on bub and grandma breads. Big, well constructed selections that are honestly too hard to choose from so you might be there again before you know it for another crave. Be advised that they run through a good amount of items around 1-4:00pm and some sell out.

If you need to know anything, know that Wax Paper has UNIQUE and DELICIOUS sandwiches!

We were looking at menus online for places to grab something to go after shopping all morning. My best friend is vegetarian and wanted something with variety, light, but filling, and I'll be honest: I wanted, very specifically, a sandwich hahah. Wax Paper fit our needs, perfectly!

These were some of the best sandwiches I've had from a to-go spot! Ordering online was easy, staff was super fun and made sure our orders were perfect upon pickup. Their whole menu sounded intreguing, it was hard to choose! Loved the house pickles (all varieties!) and how absolutely PACKED the to-go containers were with fresh food! We ended up liking the sandwiches so much, we got another order to take with us for later in the evening.

I got the Larry Mantle and Ophira Eisenburg. Both were layered heavily with ingredients on pillowy but chewy breads. These sandwiches were pretty... wet? too? With lots of sauce/brine from the pickles. Everything tasted balanced and really hit the spot! My friend's only complaint is that the Ira Glass's cheddar got a little gluey after a few bites, but they were still impressed by the flavorful deli cheese nonetheless!

The sandwich is great, I don't remember their names tho. The hot roasted beef is the one I ate.

The staff are nice, but they don't accept cash there, paying with cards or Google pay is fine.

You can choose to eat inside the store or outside the corridor, I will prefer eating inside since there's flies outside.

I will definitely come back here again.

Overpriced sandwiches the bread is too hard. And do you prefer roaches in the sauce or straight from the floor and onto your sandwich? I'm pretty sure they use boar's Head meat as well which has a slight listeria outbreak going on and a federal lawsuit. How sure are you that this location's food service and codes are up to date?

Ordered the Ira Glass and Larry Mantle.. I was expecting to be blown away but was underwhelmed. Vegan frozen yogurt was tasty tho!!

Great one of a kind sandwiches that taste even better than they look. Bread is amazing, meats, veggies and the cheese are all amazing. Last time I went they also had dole whip with taijin sprinkled on top. Must try and repeat.

Ok first I'd like to say you must try this hidden gem. I guess I'm a bit late but "oh shitaky" what a sandwich. This ain't your run of the mill good sandwich or subguey crud. These peeps have crafted on their own level for sure. Flavors smashing your mouth hole from everywhich way. Acids, tangs, pickling, subtle and not do subtle from bite to bite. Thank you Wax Paper C-town for letting me experience what your art has evolved into. I enjoyed every moment and will be back to try others. "Today was the Larry Mantle tommortow the World!"

This sandwich shop is great the food is spot on and the sandwich size is good. Their pickles are sweet and pickley. I liked it but it felt like something was missing. The ingredients are fresh and refreshing and they have their own vinegar which is terrific. I think if they had a good soup to round out the meal it would be perfect.
