They charged me a large plate of Fritay for $20 then told me i had to pay an extra $8 for a sausage that comes with the Fritay. I ended up paying $28. If your not careful they will try to rob you for your money. The food wasn’t even good and they didnt even give enough food for a large plate. This was my first and last time coming to this spot.

(This is a review from this summer.) Quality of food went down. I typically stop here whenever I visit home but I think that I will not return. The person taking orders was not for me. She seemed to have a very nasty attitude and pretended not to know what I was asking for because I didn’t ask for it in creole. Then she laughed with the person back there with her. I don’t speak Creole but I understand it. And that was very rude and inconsiderate to be made fun of. It shouldn’t matter where you are from if your money can be spent that should be the only motivation. Some people should not be in the food industry if they refuse to have GOOD customer service. I visited on two separate occasions (a week apart) and still the same attitude and the food wasn’t as fresh and properly prepared (as I am used to). After that encounter I will look for a new “favorite Haitian restaurant” to experience the nostalgia that used to receive.

Last month, I went for the first time purchased some rice and legumes, the food was burn and could not be eaten and they did not say anything about burning. This past Friday, my husband purchased some patty and Akra there, I ate it and vomited right after I ate it as it upset my stomach. In addition, it gave my husband diarrhea that lasts till now because it feels like food poisoning and things they sold are not safe….Never again because this food can kill people

I’ve ordered from them twice on Seamless which they claim to use only for them to cancel. On both occasions, it stated that the order is being prepared and about 20 minutes later it gets canceled.
